Clark Scolamiero started Midlands Affordable Fencing from a desire to create simple, beautiful spaces at a reasonable price. Clark retired from a professional baseball career in 2022 and settled down in Columbia, S.C. with his wife right after. After purchasing their first home downtown, they soon realized they needed to create a safe environment for their first son to play and their dog to run in their backyard. Clark took it upon himself to research and learn the art of fence building in his free time and completed his first fence at a whopping 355 feet. What started as a need to create an outdoor space for his young family has now developed into a thriving business. Since 2022, Clark has continued creating affordable fencing solutions for residential and commercial properties in the midlands with an emphasis on being reliable, full of integrity, and a friendly face to all customers.
